Mrs. Thomas is a dynamic, motivational, and inspirational teacher and leader. She's hands on and brings an energy and spirit that inspires. I would not hesitate to have her teach my grandchildren. She makes learning fun and relevant for all learners.

Mrs. Thomas is not like other teachers, she's better . She teachs the best way that fits your needs . If you're hands on you'll be doing hands on stuff. If you're a visual learner she has something for you too. She doesn't leave kids behind. If you don't understand something , she'll have you doing the craziest things , but I promise in the end you'll know the lesson like the back of your hand . Mrs. Thomas is also a great listener, if you need somebody to talk to , she's all ears and has really good advice. Mrs. Thomas is just an overall great person and I can count on her for anything.

I have been a middle school teacher for 14 years. I have taught with Mrs. Thomas the last 4 years. She is the most complete teacher I have ever worked with. Here are some of ther attributes:Motivating - from the decorations in her room, to the tone of her voice, she is a "coach" in the classroom. She makes even the most reluctant student want to work harder. Standard Focused - Mrs. Thomas is a tireless educator. She has been trained and studied the lastest information on the common core curriculum. She works with other teachers to make sure that the students are getting information they need to succeed on the standarized test. Leader - Mrs. Thomas has been a member of the leadership team for the last 3 years. She has been a grade level leader, a team leader and the head of the Staff Motivation Club.And - a good friend.

I have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Thomas in a collaborative setting at North Clayton Middle School for a couple of years. I truly loved working with her because she not only instilled in our students the educational values needed to be problem solvers and critical thinkers, she also instilled in them how valuable they are to the Lord. My son and I moved from Maryland to Georgia in 2012. I was very apprehensive about his new school and anxious about how he would transition to his new environment. My son being in Mrs. Thomas's class was not luck, it was a blessing. I was instantly comforted and impressed by the relationships that she had built with the students and the level of respect that they had for her. The dedication that she has for education is infinite. It is not uncommon for Mrs. Thomas to contact parents and students before, during, and after school hours to ensure that everyone is involved in their child's success. She not only has helped build my son's self esteem, Mrs. Thomas has taught him about self worth. I am joyful,proud, and honored to have Mrs. Thomas as my son's seventh and eighth grade math teacher.
